Fantasy football enthusiasts, get ready to take your game to the next level with a revolutionary new competition format that is set to change the way you experience fantasy football. One fantasy football platform, Dane's Fantasy Football, is leading the way in innovation with their grand prix style competition that is set to take the fantasy football world by storm.

This new competition format, inspired by the need for fresh and engaging fantasy football experiences, offers a unique twist on the traditional season-long leagues. Instead of just competing in one league against a set group of managers, the grand prix style competition involves multiple leagues running concurrently. Managers compete in different leagues, accumulating points throughout the season. At the end of the season, the manager with the most points across all leagues is crowned the ultimate champion. What sets this grand prix style competition apart is the element of strategy and skill it introduces. Managers not only have to excel in their individual leagues but also need to carefully manage their teams across multiple leagues to maximize their points total. This adds a whole new layer of complexity and excitement to the fantasy football experience. Dane's Fantasy Football is not just about the competition, though. The platform aims to build a community of fantasy football enthusiasts, offering forums, live chat, live video capabilities, and a seamless way to track league dues and winnings. Whether you are a seasoned fantasy football veteran or a newcomer to the game, there is something here for everyone. In addition to the grand prix style competition, Dane's Fantasy Football also offers a range of other unique formats, including a dynasty league that has been running for 8 years with little turnover in managers. This commitment to providing diverse and engaging fantasy football experiences sets Dane's Fantasy Football apart from the competition. So, if you are looking to revolutionize your fantasy football experience and take on a new challenge, look no further than Dane's Fantasy Football and their grand prix style competition. Join the community, test your skills, and experience fantasy football like never before.

How does the Grand Prix league tabulate scoring? Well, i have devised a google spreadsheet that is updated on Tuesday morning. How this works is when you join you will be in 2 leagues. First one is the Head to Head League, you will recieve a point for your weekly win, another point for scoring 100 points in your weekly matchup, and another point for scoring 130 in your weekly matchup. Total points earned per week in head to head is 3.

You will also be inserted into a points league. points earned here are 40 for 1st place, 38 for 2nd place, etc. etc. decreasing by 2 points per place. Naturally, the total points earned by all teams depends on whether it is a 10-man league, or a 12-man league.

Now this is where it gets interesting as the points earned in H2H does not equal the points earned in the points league. In the interest of fairness we have added a "multiplier" element to the H2H league to bring that league into exact parity with the points league. In other words a point earned in H2H is equal to a point earned in the points league. Then we add the 2 league points you have earned together to give you a cumulative points earned and this is your final score.

We do this for each league being run. This year (2024) we hope to have 3 10-man leagues running simultaneous (total of 6 leagues) and each Tuesday we calculate the points earned and report the results of each league and the cumulative results to derive a overall standings.

A snapshot of how it works is that you may have the most points (1st) in H2H however, you only came in 8th in points league. Then the multiplier points earned in H2H added to your placement points earned in the points league when combined may place you in the overall standings at 6th place.

One can see it is best to have a consistent scoring in both leagues to have a viable shot at being the overall winner at seasons end.

If you have any questions on the scoring system we use please just ask and we can answer your question.

Sincerely, Larry "Bootleggers" the stat man
