Hello fantasy football managers! Thank you all for your cooperation and patience in getting the first season under the new website going (to include those of you in the HardCorps league). We have just a few stragglers left to get signed up in their respective Yahoo leagues and we'll be ready to go. We didn't quite make 30 managers, so I'll be running a 2nd entry. The slot is STILL OPEN THOUGH, if you know someone who would still like to play, please let me know, I will sign the teams over to them likkity split. I'm really glad we made it to 30 managers this year, and still hope to expand next year. However, we took it down to the wire this year, and I would like it to be a smoother process next year. We'll start earlier next season and there won't be as much 'gentle prodding' from me to get signed up. If this means we revert to 24 and cut the stragglers out then that's how it will go down. The future will hoepfully bring a smoother process for you all that will eliminate many of the different signups and payment...which brings me to $$. Some of you have paid already, and some have not. Please pay before the draft. Or expect some text/email spam from me. If not received before the end of the first week, we'll confiscate your team and adjust the winnings accordingly. Now for the draft. I know it was slated for Friday the 30th, that was just a placeholder because I had really hoped we would get everyone signed up well before then, alas, that did not happen. We STILL don't have everyone signed up, but the draft is set. It will happen over a two day span next week as shown below (this information is reflected in your league also so you'll see it when you sign in and get email reminders). All times are EASTERN If you are in a "1" league: Tuesday the 3rd, H2H at 730, PNTS at 830
If you are in a "2" league: Monday the 2nd, H2H at 730, PNTS at 830
If you are in a "3" league: Mon the 2nd, H2H at 630, Tue the 3rd PNTS at 630 We've spread it out so that it is unlikely any of your drafts will overlap, and if it does, it won't be by much. We've also tried to put it later in the evening so if you are in central or further west, you can still make it if you leave work a bit early. Those of you in the service industry, I'm sorry, your schedules are too crazy to accommodate (and may the gods bless you for doing it). The draft timer is set to 45 seconds so be proactive and have your picks ready when it's your turn. Be decisive. Do some mock drafts, it will help get an idea how the draft is going to shake out for you. It won't be exact, but you'll have a better idea. You can see your draft position in the Articles section of the danesfantasyfootball.com and the Yahoo league should reflect it as soon as the commissioners get in and edit the draft order to reflect what we did at the draft selection party.
