Good Day to you fantasy managers. I've looked over the various division performances this week. Read below for some praise and good ole fashion ribbing. Division 1
H2H: Despite his woes in the PNTS division, Leghaters is CRUSHING it in the H2H his 134 points led the division by a large margin. This sucks for Kari bc she put up a respectable game with 119 points. My sorry ass couldn't even break 100, but at least ZackinOff was worse than me with 83. Only two undefeated teams left with Sam D and Jeff M sitting pretty atop the H2H1 division. Bennet isn't the only winless team, but he's the only 0-2 team!
PNTS: Well I'll be damned if it's not one RB exploding for Missy, it's another. Week 1 Saquon dropped 32 for her, and this week Alvin Kamara grabbed a whopping 43. We can only hope Andrews continues to be a bust at TE, bc with those two RBs she is going to be getting a LOT of points. The largest drop off in points behind comes at the 5-6 gap with of course ME sporting 12 points needed to move up.
Division 2
H2H: Show Me Your TDs got what he asked for. Bootlegger showed him all the TDs. With a 142 point game Bootlegger punched in a monster of a game. Skyler must have been busy looking for the other kind of "TDs" because he was only 3 points away from being the lowest score in this division. John eked out a win over Missy by 1.5 points in the closest game of the week.
PNTS: Despite having the most points across ANY division this week, Alanna could not topple her friend Justin for first place. 147 ain't nothing to scoff at and you made up almost thirty points on him, but you'll need 10 more than him to take over first place. This division had themselves a week though I'm tellin ya. 3 managers over 120, and 7 over 100. Despite being one of those 7, Bootlegger is still finding himself in the points basement playing patty cake with Mike.
Division 3
H2H: What a ho hum division. Only 1 undefeated, and 1 winless. All 8 of the rest of you are quite literally the middle of the pack at 1-1. We'll obviously start to see some separation as the season progresses, but this is kind of funny to me. JJ had a hell of a game and is hoping this H2H division helps with his overall standings by making up for his crappy performances in his PNTS division. Justice also had an AMAZING performance posting 139 points against a projected 89. That's 55% over expected. Speaking of what is expected. I would not have imagined the first ever Grand Prix champion to post such a ghastly game. Pike's Pigskin Posse with 57 points? You probably could have put together in a 8 of us managers and we would have gotten more points than your NFL players did. We're gonna need you to live up to what a champion is here in Grand Prix land. Step it up Jori!!!
PNTS: Chase'n TDs had a solid game putting up 119 but more importantly gaining 2 places in the standings and is now less than 1 point from moving up one more spot. Remember in the Points divisions, all that matters is what place you land in. Every move up grabs you another 2 overall points. At the top of this league Lance lost his position as the alpha due to 133 points from Matt. However, Beserkers are just under 2 points back, and I can't imagine he is fine being in 2nd place.
There ya go folks, that's your Week 2 recap. Be sure to check the overall standings. And stand by for a little bit of a site redesign. Pops and I are working on having a 'sub-site' for each league. If you hover over the "Leagues" link, you'll see I've created pages for the HardCorps League and the Grand Prix League.
love these write ups. THANKS SON!! on a side note we still have 2 people ineligible for prize money as their team names DO NOT MATCH
